Created with sindoor pigment on Hemp wasli. This step by step pattern construction or analysis of the Dome of Sheikh lotfollah mosque, Isfahan. A 17th century Safavid Mosque. Which was exclusively used by Females. The cupola shaped dome has 289 shamsas or cusps shape in it Which is the abjab value of Al Rahim (the merciful) which has root connections with word ‘Womb’ (Rahim in arabic) ‘Lotf’ relates to gentleness.
